知道黑暗原力、尤達大師或是絕地武士這些名詞的朋友肯定是有些年紀了！這次星際大戰的老影迷們不要錯過了！最近飾演星際大戰中那隻毛茸茸的戰士丘巴卡（Chewbacca）演員 Peter Mayhew，公佈一系列的老照片在 twitter 上與大家分享，可以看到諸如哈里遜福特等老牌明星年輕時，在拍星際大戰時的幕後照片，還有那個沒有數位修片後製的美好時代，細膩的道具場景製作，更甚至手繪背景！以下就讓我們來回顧一下這些珍貴畫面吧！
該片描寫在很久以前的一個遙遠的銀河系，肩負正義使命感的絕地武士與帝國邪惡黑暗勢力作戰的故事。絕地武士是一群有著非凡天賦的人，經由各種篩選，他們在幼年即開始接受嚴格特殊訓練，其宗旨是認識和使用「原力」（Force）。訓練有素的絕地武士有極強的意志力可以使用無所不在的「原力」來維護銀河間的和平。比如，控制意志較弱人的思想，甚至可以預感將要發生的事情，所以絕地武士有著非凡的戰鬥能力。
故事以三條主線貫穿：銀河共和國轉變為銀河帝國的過程中引發內戰，反抗軍與帝國軍互相對抗；絕地武士階級的興衰起落；以及天行者家族在大環境下面臨的種種挑戰。
